In the home stretch now

Well I have a little over a week until my surgery date. I am doing a liquid diet right now and it is funny, but I have not had any real desire to cheat at all. I have been on liquid diets in the past and had a much worse time of it. I am not saying there are no temptations, on the contrary I have already had a visit from neighborhood kids selling candy bars, people inviting me out to all kinds of great restuarants, a phone call offering me a free pizza from one of my favorite pizza places, and any time now I expect someone to come by with free ice cream and cheesecake. Lol, I am always amazed how temptation can be so obvious and yet still be a temptation... For the first time in a very long time I believe I can and will lose this weight. It is so funny, I was thinking of marathons and bikeathons tonight. I have been hiding behind a literal wall of flesh for so long, that to break free is to be truely free and until I am there I am held captive and limited. I want to be unlimited!
