THINGS DEFINATELY GET WORSE BEFORE THEY GET BETTER...

Feb 29, 2012

From the last time I checked in up until yesterday I was in pure misery!!!!!!!!!!! Thankfully I've been able to keep all my food down - no vomitting. I was having such a hard time taking my vitamins, eating and drinking because it was just too much!!! I was in constant pain, my percs stop working after 2 hours. After taking to my nurse she said I was indeed suffering from dehydration.

Fast forward to yesterday, I had to staples removed - which has cut my pain drastically and has taken me off all prescription meds yayyy!!! I was out so much yesterday and so active that at 8pm I slept until 2am missing meals, fluids, vitamins etc...when I woke up at 2, I forced myself to do it all. I ate well, took all meds, h20, now I'm doing my protein. Thanks to my dtermination, I am no longer constipated and I feel much better.

I'm devoted the first few hours of my morning tp meds, fluid and proteins. I'm having to experiment with receipes. I hate everything I love before, even some smells bother me! It disgusts me also to look at certain types of food, like why did I ever put that in my mouth? I've been doind a lot of walking with the kids.

I see a small change in my face, I can see a little definition which is exciting, I'm down 20lbs and clothes I currently have are starting to fit better. I'm 9 days out, I certainly am not where I need to be in terms of my dicispline with eating and taking my vitamins but I'm proud of my success, everyday is getting better. I'd like to think that the worst is over and the best is yet to come!
