Having a sugery such as what we are having, have had or hope to have there is one worry everyone has...the dreaded extra skin. I was talking to my sister last night. A friend of hers had gastric bypass done, I think, two years ago. She has a lot of extra hanging skin. She contacted one of the burn centers in North Carolina and is donating her skin. They are doing the removal for her at no cost.. So this will be something I will keep in the back of my mind a couple of years from now. And if you have already have had surgery and are having issues with extra skin. Try contacting a burn center near you and see what you can find out. Maybe they will do the same.
