Final approval with 1 week to go? WTF!

I have done a THOUSAND tests that I will have to pay a % of and started a cpap machine that rents for over $250 a month , I have paid $1450 dollars for Nutrionalist to follow me threw the next year and a half as part of my insurances requirements. My husband has taken numerous days off to stay with the kids so I could go do those tests. I have pushed myself to the god damn limit with this diet of chicken breasts and protein drinks. Not to mention all the extra costs of the food and vits and minerals for pre-surgery. My Surgery is scheduled and my child care is set up. My husbamd has taken a week off work to care for me and the kids after surgery and TODAY my insurance lady (sweatheart) says she is submitting my tests and such for a FINAL APPROVAL  for surgery. WHAT? WAIT......WHAT?!!! I have spent thousands of dollars and a week before surgery ....WHAT?!! She asked me about past weight loss attempts today like I was just starting this process! HOLY SH!T!! Then she tells me not to worry...she will call me tomorrow! She thinks it looks good! OMG!!! All day I have been sick...  I don't understand! Why just now? Is this normal?!! Please PLEASE  God let this turn out ok! Someone tell me this is normal!!
