Testing

Okay so I had a surgeon from Toledo at first, I got my approval letter, and then he "up and resigned"... So I found a new surgeon Dr. Lalor in Bowling green, Ohio. The drive is about an hour north of me but better than an hour and half in toledo. I met with the dr. about 2.5 wks ago. I really liked him, i feel confident in him, he answered all my questions. So I am thinking I am gonna get surgery on Aug.2, 2010! :) RNY. I had to get 3 more test done from this doctor that my other one didnt have me do, and I completed then today! One was RANCID, that barium swallow is NO JOKE, its HORRIBLE NASTY. I thought I was gonna start wretching right there on the xray table. NOT COOL. I know after surgery you have to drink that crap to see if you have any leaks, but after surgery you can't gulp it down like i did today and it STILL wasnt fast enough. Man, i can still taste it in my mouth and the smell is unforgetable! PUKE.

Anyways, I hope to start doing some of the new healthy habits that the dietician recommended to me they are:
chew slowly
drink before and after meals not during meals.
eat slowly 20-25 min per meal
get in my vitamins
drink more water
exercise.

THATS ALOT OF THINGS TO DO, and I am trying to start them but I think maybe one thing a week!
I am not sure how much I will be posting on here but when i remember I will post.
starting weight 292lbs.
