I am 2 1/2 weeks post RYN.  I am getting in all my protein and liquids with no problem.  My concern is the pain I still have in my lower left abdomen.   Dr. said everything looked good at my 1 week check up, and that it was ok to hurt as I had just had

So, I am home now and feeling pretty good.   Still some pain, especially on my lower left abdominal region.  Anesthetic hit me hard, but today I finally feel human and awake.  No problem getting my liquids in (all clear this week until 1 week check up)

Finished my first week of Optifast.  Really not so bad at all.  Just seems like I'm always eating/drinking something!  Went for my final weight check/labs/pre-op testing today.  Down 9 pounds!   Hurray for me.   Surgery scheduled for next Wednesday.

I am on day 2 of my optifast pre-op diet.   While it's not awful, it could certainly be better!   Anybody have any ideas to improve the taste, especially the shakes.   Bars are fine, and soup I've been able to add some seasoning to make it more palatab

Hi everybody.  I am new to the OH site, although I have been lurking and learning for quite a while now.   My RNY surgery is scheduled for July 8, and I start my 2 week pre-op OPIFAST tomorrow.   Getting excited, but nervous.
