H. pylori? WHAT YOU SAY DOC?!

Ok so I have had gurd and belly issues since around 2003. Can I share with ya’ll how I’ve been told for years that I had an ulcer and I get a call from my new doctor who FINALLY did a stomach scope on me (I changed hospitals and PCP’s this year, got tired of Advocate) and found out I have not one ulcer! I have something called the H Pylori virus. Which is a virus that causes ulcers or may never give your one. And it has the SAME symptoms as ulcers. I’ve had stomach pains and gurd for YEARS like since college to find out that an antibiotic taken for 2 weeks CLEARS it up! Praise him! It doesn't stop no show as far as my surgery is concerned but had I not had my stomach scoped and done a biopsy. I wouldn't have even known this! I would have had antacids as my friends the rest of my life!
