More tests???

Ok so I thought once I was approved the testing was over! But apparently NOT! I have to go in mid July for presurgery testing. They have to give me another EKG, a pulmonary CAT SCAN, blood tests and a chest x-ray! I guess I should be happy that this is all for a means to an end. SO my anesthesiologist can give me the correct dosage to keep me under for the right amount of time. I'm kind of happy/upset because my girls birthday party is on July 16th and I'm going but I can only have a little bit of water the night before the testing and you've guessed it they've picked July 17th to be that day! So no drinking the night before the party and I'm probably gonna have to head out of the gathering early. But oh well! I told her I had a doc appt the next morning so she knows I may not be there long. She didn't sound too happy. But in all honesty I'm not sure I'd care if she was extra pissed off. This is one of the people I told about my surgery expecting some kind of supporting hand but she doesn't bring it up or ask me anything at all. She simply says I don't think you should do it. I personally think she simply wants me to stay large and in charge so we can still hang out and eat and pig out and drink. I've informed her that all of that was going to cease and she was none too happy. Either way now I'm ranting just writing to say 17 work days left and 34 FULL days left until Aug. 2nd! YAY ME!!!!
