Day 22

This isn't going to be a long blog today. I had a LOOOOONNNNGG day, and I am super tired.

Started out the day with a good, reflective visit with my counselor. I worked through some of the problems I had a few days ago, and reflected on some my emotional connection to food. It was very helpful.

After that appointment I did 400,000 loads of laundry. (Okay, it was more like 7, but it felt like it was never going to end.) I literally folded clothes and sheets for 2 hours straight.

After laundry, I had to do some shopping for gift wrapping stuff and I wandered around The Bergen Town Center for about an hour. I have't been there since it got all new and fancified, it was pretty nice. I had some delicious sushi there too.

Next we stopped by to see some friends. We exchanged Christmas gifts, and I got to play with their 7-year-old daughter. It was a lot of fun catching up and relaxing. They have a brand new baby, and he's so cute. I love being around babies, and I think they are so amazing, but they also scare me. I really don't see kids in my immediate future.

Now, I am home. The dogs are alrady all snuggled up and sleeping. My eyes feel like sandpaper, and I am very ready for dreamland.
