Day 23

Another uneventful day. I'm sure I have one of the most boring blogs...

I was a little carb heavy today, but mostly because I am almost out of my healthy food. I had to make do with what we had in the house. Hopefully, there is shopping in my immediate future.

Tomorrow should be a very fun day (even though the support group was cancelled). We are planning a visit to our friends, and Carlos' family. In the morning, we'll get to see our friends while there daughter is at school, so we'll get to actually talk and hang out. Not that I don't love playing with little kids. In fact, when we go to our families house, I'll get to play with my niece. She is so much fun, and so smart! (I'm a very proud Auntie.)

I finally got my checks today, so I feel so much better! I'm now sure I have the money to have surgery. YAY! It's really happening! I am so excited and nervous. When we go shopping tomorrow, I am going to get stuff for protein shakes. I want to try out some different ways to have them before surgery. I think I am going to get vanilla, and then some sugar free flavor inhancers. I read about using extracts and such, so i want to see what I like so I am well prepared.

It's another short blog tonight, since not a lot is happening. Keep checking back. As my surgery approaches, I'm sure it'll get more interesting.
