I have been a member here for awhile now and have been wanting the surgery but couldn't get insurance to pay for it! So now I am a self pay! I don't want to have to go through all of the Psych evaluations etc. I'm not crazy, I'm not addictied to food, I just cannot lose weight. I have tried everything, pills, potions, chants under the moon, trances, hypnosis, you name it I have tried it. I would lose maybe 2-3 pounds but thats it. The only time I have ever lost a significant amount of weight is when I was pregnant. I lost 25 lbs. during pregnancy and 25 lbs. after while I breastfeeding. Of course that caused my gallbladder to fail and now it needs to be removed. Just can't win can I?
I wanted to have my surgery local but now I am 98% sure that
I am going to be going with Dr. Alvarez! Now I just have to get financing. Wish me luck!
