To get the vaccine or not to get the vaccine?

That is the question. I was going to pass on the H1N1 vaccine but so many of the kids at school have been so very sick that I decided to think seriously about it. I called the Bariatric center at Saranac Lake and asked if there was a recommendation to do so or not, and was told that it's ok to get one, but it has to be at least 2 weeks prior to surgery or at least a month since surgery. Since the H1N1 clinic is set for here at school today, I decided this is a perfect window of opportunity for me to go ahead and get the vaccine and so I got my name on the list. It would be just my luck to finally get a surgery date and then get sick with the fool thing, so I decided I'd rather be safe than sorry.
