Surgeon Testimonial

Ramzi Alami, MD
I met with Dr. Stiles and she informed me that the new Surgeon is Dr. Li. I have an appointment scheduled for the end of June.

Dr. Gorrin is a very experienced Surgeon. He is a thoughtful Doctor. I have even read an online professional paper about bariatrics FYI-case he was a part of. Expert knowledge for what WLS needs per person. As of Mar-22-06 Dr. Gorrin is relocating to Eugene OR. I will get updates on new Surgeon April 25, 2006 at Kaiser-SSF meeting with Dr. Stiles, head of Bariatrics program. Everyone meets with her at least once through their journey.

Okay, I never got to meet with Dr. Robert Li. I have been assigned to a new surgeon, and there are a few extra things I have to still do.

I am slow to response to the new doctor yet I have not given up. Dr. Ramzi Alami; young, focused, and sticks to his guns type guy. I am still working to meet the goal for a surgery date.

    Hi again! You're getting close! Congrats! I had my surgery a week ago today, and Dr.Li did an excellent job. You will be in good hands. Everyone is super nice in the OR and on the nursing floor. All the rooms are private, so if it gets noisy you can shut the door and get some rest. They totally controlled my pain and I was feeling pretty good! Be prepared to want to sleep a lot the first few days!

    Hi Sonya! Alma from SSF called me this morning and gave me my surgery date, and I haven't even met Dr. Li yet! I see him on the 30th. They had a cancellation so they asked me if I wanted surgery on July 10th. If I got my date, you will get yours soon, too! Anytime now! The hard work we have done has almost paid off! Dana

    Hi there. I think I have seen you in some of the classes at Kaiser SSF. Were you at Lifestyles 4 on May 26th? Anyway, just wanted to say hello and wish you well. We'll get our surgery soon, we just have to keep the faith! Dana
