2 weeks post-op ( a little late)

Hello Everyone , I know I'm a little late on my post, but I have been really busy lately and I'm still getting used to blogging, per se. Anyways, on last Wednesday 3/14, I had my two week post-op visit and everything went quite well I must say. All my incisions are healing good and I am down 26 lbs. since surgery. My official weight was 302.0, wow only 3 pounds from my first goal of getting under 300 lbs !!!!!! The doctor also cleared me for soft foods too. I was so ready for some texture, 17 days of liquids was long and hard, but I made it without cheating.  The problem is now that I'm cleared to eat, I'm not sure what to eat or how to develop a regimen or schedule, that and the fact that I'm kind of afraid, well was afraid, to put something solid in there. So far  I've tried tuna, chicken, chili, lean deli turkey slice, and string cheese, for the most part everything worked well except chicken leaves me with this lump in my chest. Still learning though, not sure yet as to when I'm full so I just stop eating after a couple of bites or when I get that lumpy chest feeling.  Oh, I also tried crawfish, I was able to get down about 7 tails before I got that "feeling", boy did I enjoy those, surprisingly, the season didn't bother me at all. It seems that I don't lose as fast since I've added some solids, i've only lost 1 lb since Wednesday, still happy for that one though.  I'm trying not to become a prisoner to the scale, but I find myself weighing every other day, I think I'm going to have to move it from the bathroom and only bring it out on weigh-in day, Wednesday's, so that I won't be tempted to weigh myself so often.  I'm also going to add my beginning measurements to the end of this post, to try to keep track of them as well. Well until next time, I'm outtie 5000!!!
