what a crazy year
on June 5, 2012 3:45 pm
well this has been a very crazy 18 months.  I had my surgery 12/29/2010, four short months later I moved fom Virginia to New Mexico when my husband retired from the a rmy.  I got a job continued to loose and do great.  I havnt been on here as much as I would have liked infact for the past 6 - 8 months I havnt been on at all as life as been so busy between my kids husband and work I havnt had time to think much less spend a lot of time on the computer.  But things have finaly started to slow down some.  I am hopefull that I will be able to get on and read and interact more.  Ok so my one year goal was 175 and at one year I was sitting at 178 so I would say I was right on track.  It was very exciting for me over the last 6 months I have droped another 10 lbs.  While 10 lbs in 6 months doesnt sound like much I am very happy with where I am at.  From my intital start weight when I made my mind up to do rny I have lost 153 lbs.  I am still like 23 lbs from goal but im not worried.  My husbands disability is in the final stages and we should be getting a nice check and when that comes in I will be having my reconstruction surgery done and having a tummy tuck, breast reduction, arm lift and possibly a inner thigh lift done.  I feel like when I have all that excess skin removed I will definatly be at goal or really really close.  My road to getting my life back has been surprising and exciteing I feel wonderful and have had very few issues.  I dont dump unless the sugar content is very high.  I dont crave sweets anymore which is awsome.  there are a few things I can nolonger handle though  I can no longer eat pork except small small amounts such as bacon.  I can no longer do dairy with exception of sour cream and a small amoun of cheese.  but milk yogurt and icecream are out. my husband thinks it is really cool that he can pick me up and carry me around and does it quite freequently just to prove he can.  I am so ready to get the next part done and beable to wear a bikini that is my ultimate thing I want to be able to wear one dont know that I will but i want that option.  any way the family is wanting dinner so I guess I better post this and get busy.

Wow what a month
on January 23, 2011 6:57 am
I cant believe its already been a month since my surgery.  Or atleast almost it will be on Wednesday.   I have no regrets. I am still trying to find a way to get protein and vitamins but Im working on it.  Still trying to get all my liquids in but working on that too.  Im down 26 lbs today under 300 for the first time in over a year.  I cant tell you how good that feels.  We will be moving sometime around the end of April or begining of May.  I cant wait to see my family again.  Mom was here right after my surgery but I will have changed a bunch by the time I see her and my dad again.  And my husbands family we havnt seen since Oct.  and some since the summer.  I will realy look different to them.  and my 20 year High school reunion will be either next year or the year after depending on if they decide to do the combined 3 years together or separate.  And I plan on looking amazing by then. Hopefully I will be able to have the PS done before that.  looking forward to what the next month has instore.

Got my date
on November 5, 2010 1:52 pm
Yeah I got my date I'm so excited.  Dec 29th 2010 will be the start of my new life.  I'm so ready.  It has been a long stressful couple of months.  We have lost my husbands grandfather and 10 days later we lost his father.  I tore my meniscus in my knee so after being cleared by everyone for my surgery my surgeon wouldn't let me have the procedure done till I got my knee fixed.  So 2 weeks ago yesterday.  They called me Wednesday and gave me my date.  I have to go some time before Thanksgiving and have my anesthesia stuff done and get my diet which I start on the 15th of Dec.  I have been so stressed that I wasn't going to get my surgery because my husband is going through a med retirement and getting out of the army so it has been a race to see which would happen first.  looks like my surgery is going to win.  SO here is to my new life 54 more days and counting.
