I am starting Feosol Bifera after seeing a significant drop in Ferritin levels from preop to 3 months post op. The box says one caplet once a day. Is that the correct dosage for a bypass patient also?

I have extreme nausea after eating any dense proteins. To the point I live on my Syntrax and Unjury shakes. Food makes my stomach "gag" or heave if that makes any sense. I can literally feel my stomach clench up. I do OK with some soft foods like c

I am currently taking Celebrate Iron+C.  It is ferrous fumerate which I read we don't absorb.  I need a chewable, liquid or smaller than an M&M elemental iron. What does everyone use?  I still have problems swallowing pills larger than an M&M.  Thanks

I take the Opurity Bypass Multivitamins.  They only have 50 mg of Calcium.  I also take 3 Bariatric Advantage Carmel calcium chews divided 2 hours apart throughout the day.   Is that little bit of calcium (50 mg) enough to interfere with my Iron+C?  I

I am 2.5 weeks out.  I initially lost 10 pounds the first two weeks, nothing since Monday.  I know this is normal.  But my pouch seems to be totally normal.  By that I mean I have no nausea, haven't vomited, have had small amounts of pork loin, and chi

I sneezed last night and now my left side is so very sore, downright hurts.  It had been almost better and that sneeze did something.  My incisions are all still closed, but it actually hurts to move again, a deep pain. I can't feel any hernia or anyth

I am 4 days post op RNY.  I do good getting fluids and protein in until about 4 pm each day.  By that time I usually have almost 50grams protein and 50-60 oz water.  Then I start to get a little queasy.  I have zofran that I take but can't seem to get

I have hypothyroid and take .75 of Levothyroxine each morning.  It is a tiny pill.  I was instructed to crush all meds until 2 months post op.  All my vitamins and supplements are chewables but I am supposed to wait until 2 weeks post op to start them.

Would it be bad if I didn't get in my 60 grams of protein today?  I am 3 days post op.  I have gotten in 45 grams of protein, about 40 ounces of additional water, about 1/4 cup strained homemade French onion broth, and 1 sugar free Popsicle.  I just do

I had RNY on Tuesday, so today is day 3 post op.  I haven't had any problems getting fluids in.  Is drinking an 8 oz shake in an hour too fast?

I had my RNY yesterday.  I get to go home tomorrow. Feeling sore but not terrible pain wise. I stopped the pain pump this morning and am just doing the liquid Lortab now.

I didn't have any excruciating gas pain either.  Honestly tha
