I have been a member since 2001 but my email and passwords changed several times over the last 15 years resulting in my being unable to access my page:0(  I would have loved to read it as know I might find some inspiration to help me get off and keep off the excess.  I never got down to my goal weight but was happy in size 12.  Fast forward to three months ago and found I was back up to size 20 pants.  I recently dropped 30 of the lbs I had gained and am now between size 14 and 16 but desperately want to lose another 30.  One day at a time.  Comments/suggestions?  All welcome.

I believe my original usernames were Diana L and/or Diana M ?If anybody knows how I can again access to my original posts I'd love if you could let me know.I had RNY surgery by Dr.Giselle Hamas from Dr. Stauffers office in Pittsburgh in August 2001..15 years ago now!!!! My sister, Crystal and I both had the RUN surgery within 2 months of one another (i was first) and helped form a gastric surgery support group at the Washington hospital in washington pa.  Two of the members I'd love to hear from were Jaynie with an L and Dana with an S.  A lot has happened over these 15 years and I'd love to talk to them and others with similar stories, especially those with longer term histories who had the RNY, about how they made out and how they are doing.  Love to hear from fellow post ops!

As for me, I lost around 130 lbs and kept it off for several years but slowly over last 8 years I regained over 50 lbs.  I have managed to relose close to 30 of those 'found' lbs and struggle daily not to fall into old bad habits as felt awful about my failure and was getting uncomfortable again in my own skin.  I would love to hear from others as to if they are experiencing similar issues.  Also if any of you have contact for Dana S or Jaynie L both live around the washington pa please let me know as I would love to catch up with them.

UPDATE: February 2018.  Well I am now sitting at 236 lbs. almost 17 years after RNY surgery.  I weighed 313 the day of surgery and got down to 188 lbs.  I feel no restrictions when I eat and totally feel like a total failure.  I am now 59 years old and feel like a total failure.  I would so very much appreciate any words of advice.  PLEASE, HELP IF YOU CAN.  I don’t know where to turn or what I can do to reverse what I’ve done to myself. ????
