My Journey Begins

After years of struggling with my weight I have finally decided to have WLS. The struggle with my weight has been a rough one. I think the defining moment that sparked my desire for weight loss surgery was realizing that I couldn't enjoy playing with my nephew without getting short of breath or having back pain. I knew that I had to do something different. So with my families support I had a consult with my PCP and Surgeon. He wants me to lose 30-50lbs prior to surgery so he has started me on a modified liquid diet for the next two weeks. I am scared but excited at the same time. I know the road that lies ahead will not be easy but it will be worth it!!!
