I am a 56 y/o female from Mentor on the Lake, OH. I have been considering surgery for about 12 years and started the process in October 2015 when I found out my insurance would cover me. I had to do 6 months medically supervised weight loss. then all the clearances that United Health Care Community Plan required. Got my approval the end of May 2016, ONE DAY AFTER SUBMITTING. I had to wait for surgery though because my youngest daughters first baby was due Jule 28th..he came early July 4th. My surgery will be at University Hospital Geauga with Dr Leena Khaitan on 8-19-2016 I will also have a hital hernia repair at the same time.
