Ok, happy TGIF everybody! I couldn't resist weighing myself today. (I put my SO on a diet and he weighs in every friday, so I HAD to, to right?)Anyway the scale at GNC is right with my surgeon's scale (Tested it on Monday after my appt) so I thought why not? Ok, Monday I was 275, today I am 269!!! I am 21 days postop and down 37 pounds!!!! WAHOOOO!!!!

Wooohoooo Rowan , what wonderful news!!! 31 pounds is so terrific! you go girl !! it is so inspiring to us pre-ops and i can't wait to get to the losing side of this!!! only 7 days and a wake up !! I am 17 days post and went for my 2 week follow up today. Okay, are you all sitting down? Can everyone hear me? I HAVE LOST 31 POUNDS SINCE THE WLS!!!!!!!!!! 31 31 31 I can't believe it!!! I feel incredible! I have an amazing amount of energy, no pain, no intolerance of anything so far. Just doing great! I have graduated to soft solids. You know, really cooked veggies, ground beef, fish out the wazoo and chicken if I am REAL careful about the chewing. HOORAY REAL FOOD! Although I could only eat 2oz of a broccoli, carrots and snap peas mixture for dinner, but they TASTED SOOOO GOOOD!!!!

Rowan here. I AM ON THE LOSING SIDE!!!! I just got released today, and hope to post my WHOLE experience on my profile in the next day or so. I have an INCREDIBLE surgeon. Although my surgery took over 5 hours, he did keep it laproscopic. Details will be on my profile page as I said. Very tired and kinda sore, will talk to ya'll tomorrow or so! THANK YOU FOR ALL THE KIND WORDS AND PRAYERS!!! I KNOW I NEEDED THEM AND THEY WERE ANSWERED!!!
