Hey, I have some of the same problems with my legs as you do. What I think you need to do is find a vascular specialist because they will want you to have a ultra sound on your legs before they will clear you for surgery. If you find a doctor now and schedule an appointment with him the day after your pre addmission testing it will make the process alot faster. It sounds to me like you have cronic venious insuffincey get the ultra sound done on your legs and get a copy of the results that day they can make you a copy of the results that day. Good luck. You might want to do the test a.s.a.p. so you have those results with you. Michael

Hi Annette: Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness and kindness. I too wish you well and a speedy recovery. I too suffer from swollen feet and ankles and I am always out of breath. I go for my pre-op testing next Thursday which include cardiogram,EKG,Chest X-ray, urine and blood test. Do you have a date yet? Annette your surgery date will be here before you know it. I had six weeks to wait and they flew by - now I have 6 days. I hope you have a super successful surgery and speedy quick recovery and lose all the weight you want and feel like a whole new person. Take extra special care of yourself,
