Good luck on your coming surgery. My prayers are with you, and hoping for an uneventful surgery, and a speedy, painfree recovery. Keep your focus on healing. Patricia, I think you are doing the right thing. You are taking a chance, as we all are, of not making it through. But, in my mind, it is better to take this chance and live a full life rather than sit around waiting (generally in pain) to die. Explain this to your son. He is ten and will likely understand. Patricia don't worry about your fears. They are normal! You will do just fine. Keep busy and your rebirthday will be here before you know it. I know that I am so much more THERE for my daughter now and not always tired. Who ever thought you could GAIN from losing? Keep us posted on how you are doing. I'll be thinking about you!

Patricia, I see your wls is quickly approaching. I pray you will have a safe journey to the other side and a speedy recovery. I understand the nervous part..my wls is 10/15. I have faith the God will see us through!! hugs, Terri
