Congratulations on your upcoming surgery!! I wish you the BEST and my thoughts and prayers are with you as you make this life change. Hope you have a wonderful surgical experience and speedy complication free recovery! Your in the BEST hands with Dr. Marymor and the entire BTC staff. Dr. M was my surgeon as well and I am so happy with him and my results thus far! BTC has a wonderful program and the staff are excellent!Your soon to be a BIG LOSER!! Its me!! I HAVE A DATE!!!! I can't believe it!! I'm having surgery September 23 only 2 1/2 weeks away!!! I could really use an angel if anybody would be interested please email me. Thanks everybody!

Hi Rebekah: I wouldnt worry about a vidio until about 2 to 4 weeks post op. You dont really have to worry about that until further down the road from the surgery. I had a OPEN RNY July 22, 2002 and I am 5 weeks post op and I am still healing my surgery scar and I am feeling alittle about exercising but I am very careful until my insision heals up.I have lost 43 lbs and 15 inches. I have lost 2 blouse sizes and 1 pants size.I still have a little exhaustion just getting around on my feet yet. I dont know how much you weigh before surgery but you need to let yourself heal for a few months before you worry about exercise vidios and Gyms. I would ask your surgeon this question on you next visit. Please let me know how you are doing after your surgery. I am very interested. Sheryl OPEN RNY July22, 2002 516/453/410/160

Hello Rebekah!! I too was approved for surgery last month and had to do two (2) tests (echo cardiogram and psych. evaluation) prior to Dr. Marymor "signing off". It sounds like we are on the same train!! I'm hoping to have my surgery scheduled for late December, early January, due to the fact that I'm going on a 10 day cruise with my husband on December 3rd and I'm considering this my last hurrah! Anyway, I'm glad to here everything is going well and keep me posted on your surgery date!! Thanks for listening and good luck to you.
