"My first impression of Dr. Cirangle was that he was extremely knowledgeable about the various WLS procedures and took this surgical step very seriously. He took the time to explain in detail each procedure and did not move on until he was certain I understood each one completely and had all my questions answered.
After some consideration I chose to have the DS procedure which was recommended by Dr. Cirangle for my BMI and lifestyle. My surgery was done laparascopically and was next to perfect, however, I did suffer a post-op pulmonary embolism which put me in danger for sometime after surgery. Dr. Cirangle gave me excellent care during the entire illness and recovery. Dr. Cirangle was in touch with my family daily to ensure they had all the latest updates on my condition. He really made me feel taken care of and not as though I was being handed off to another Dr. He has followed my progress regularly since my surgery and will continue to monitor me. I am very happy with the care I have received from Dr. Cirangle. He is responsive and communicative and not only displays an enormous amount of surgical competence but an excellent bedside manner as well. For those looking for a Dr. who is a bit looser on the post-op diet, he is not the one for you. Dr. Cirangle has a very strict post-op eating plan that must be adhered to if you are to optimize your weight loss in the initial months post-op. I am happy I chose him as my surgeon and can't imagine having another Dr. take care of me."
