I spoke to Nickie's mom and she came through the surgery after what I believe was about 3 hrs (PACU, etc) very well. Welcome to the other side Nickie!

Nickie, I am so glad everything went well for you. I am praying that you have a speedy and uneventful recovery. I couldn't have asked for a better person to take this journey with. You're the best and you're going to do great. Megan

I spoke to Nickie last night and she is a little nervous, but very excited. She was hoping to go to the casino last night in Detroit to win back some of her co-pay (grins). I asked Nickie's husband to give me a call to make sure everything went smoothly. She should be coming out of surgery shortly as it is 8:40 now and her surgery was scheduled for 7:00. Please send all the love and support her way this morning.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has posted on my surgery page w/ all of your comments and words of encouragement. I really means a lot to me to have everyones support and prayers. I will keep everyone posted when I am a post op. You guys here at AMOS are the best! Thanks again. Nickie
