"I meet with Dr. Kalan on November 11th of 2002. I have been working to get all the things he has asked of me. Phyc consult and I have already meet with the nutrinist. My insurance had approved the first visit but is now saying Obesity is not a covered diagnosis. We are fighting with them. Irene has been helping us figure it out. I was really impressed with Dr. Kalan. I was comfortable and he answered everything I asked. He seems to have a good out coming with his patients. He also stressed the risks of surgury, but I have been doing so much research that I knew most of the answers anyway. "
