(HUG) Sweety, it won't be long now till the scales start the other way. Wow, when that starts, it is a real hoot. You will love it. I am so happy for you. You are in my prayers. In just a few weeks you will see a whole new world starting to open it's arms to welcome you. Just like when the butterfly emerges from it's cocoon. The world is waiting for you to lose the shell that has kept you sleeping to long. Welcome. It is not easy. It is worth it though. GOD Bless

Hello everyone! Well, I have exactly 39 1/2 hours left until I go under! I am so very excited that this has finally come. I spoke with my PCP last night about my pre op testing. Everything came back ok except for my cholesterol. What a shocker! BUT, here is the thing... At Age 16, 130 pounds, My total cholesterol was 224! So I am expecting close to 300 now! Well, at age 26, 245ish pounds my total cholesterol is 227! But here is the kicker, it is normal. (Normal you ask?) Yep. My HDL is 70! And my LDL is 127. So I have normal LDL, and very high HDL, (which is the good cholesterol.) So I am a happy camper now. My only thing is, I have not planned my last meal. I know that I should but I don't feel that it is important or that I need to. Food doesn't rule my life anymore. (Finally!) I have already had the things I will miss, but for my last last meal, I have no clue as to what to have. I suppose it is because I know that it WONT be my last meal. I haven't even packed my bag yet! Not that I am not organized (I really am), but I just don't want to spend any energy on packing and stressing over what I might need. I'm going to take it as it comes. I will pack sometime tomorrow of course, but until now, I just didn't feel the need.. (like planning a last meal). Not stressing yet. Very relaxed. I was more nervous when I had my gall bladder out last year than I am for this. Go figure. Well I have to get to bed now, thanks for being there and listening to my stories. Bless everyone here and I'll see you soon. Love dearly, Annie

Anne, Hello surgery sister. Thank you for your well wishes. I don't know about you but these last 2 days are going to go by so slow. I am a basketcase right now. Good luck to you! Mindy
