Avis, you looked great today! I know this is a rough, tough surgery but I also know you are a fighter and that you will get thru this. Hang in there friend, you are on the loosing side of life!!! Love you!

I went by to see Avis today. They have moved her to a room (#659). I didn't stay long because she wasn't doing well. She is in a lot of pain, and her blood pressure is up, she thinks because of the pain. She is disabled due to chronic pain and has a high tolerance to pain meds. Her husband was with her. Let's keep her in our prayers!

I just spoke to the volunteer in the waiting room at MCE. Avis is out of surgery and is in Surgical ICU, which was expected because of her medical conditions. Her husband had gone back to see her, so I didn't get to talk to her. Will post later when I find out more information.

Hey there!! Just want to wish you luck. I know you are nervous right now, but remember everything we talked about. You will do fine. Take care and keep me posted. Please free to e-mail me any time you want to ask a question or vent. I found that the first few weeks were the hardest physically and emotionally. But a great attitude really helps, and that is definately one thing you really do have. Best of luck and happy losing!!!!!
