Hi Lisa You have been on my prayers and on my mind since Columbus Day (and the night before). I hope this finds you feeling better today, and I have approval now from MY insurance. Keep getting well. And hug that handsome hubbie for me, Jacki.

ANGEL REPORTING: Lisa remains hospitalized as she has needed oxygen due to pressure on her diaphragm. HOWEVER, she anticipates discharge tomorrow and really sounds stronger. She had chicken broth and sugar-free jello and sounds 90% like herself. I will be happy to retire my wings as that will mean she is HOME-SWEET-HOME. But for now, keep up your good work. All those flapping wings have energized her. Good Work AMOS-ers!

Yahoo!! Lisa, I knew you could do it. Your angel report ranked you as being a 10 on a scale from 1 to 10. You are doing sooo great...I am so happy and relieved. You are walking the walk!! My prayers are still with you. Congratulations, Lisa/Irene

ANGEL REPORTING: I spoke with Lisa this afternoon and she sounded like...like...LISA! So much better than yesterday. She has walked the nurse's station promenade at least eight times and will be started on clear liquid this evening. That is if Dr. Tillquist remembers to write the order. I am ecstatic that she is on the verge of recovery and convalescence. She is heartened by everyone's well-wishes and the TLC from her beloved husband. Tomorrow may be her discharge day; and if not, Friday is expected to be the latest. Please keep up your healing energy and goodness. It is truly uplifting her. Thanks so much.

Lisa, I'm sorry you had to have so many leak tests, but glad you're on the other side of the surgery. Look forward to "talking" to you through e-mail when you feel better. I'm praying for a speedy recovery. Cindy

Hi Lisa! I hope that you are up and about real soon! Congrats on making it to the other side. In 11 days it becomes my turn for the fun and just think, you'll be well on your way! God bless you

Well, I have not seen one of the other angels post yet, so I thought I would call Lisa. She answered the phone, but sounded pretty rough. She is very nauseous right now. She passed her leak test, had the ng tube removed, and has walked some. She said she is supposed to get her first "food" tomorrow, but she does not think that is going to happen. Funny, I was trying to look at the bright side of things and said, "Hey, you made it though! You are on the other side!" That did not seem to help. Please, send healing thoughts her way. She is such a sweet, sweet person.
