Denise, Congrats on your upcoming surgery. I had my surgery with Dr. Ali 22 months ago and have not once regretted my decision. Dr. Ali is a very caring and compassionate person. If you are up to it there is a support group meeting at OCMMC in Fountain Valley on Monday nights at 6:30pm. You can meet lots of his patients and hopefully that will put you more at ease. Well, we leave for California in 2days. I am getting so excited. I thank you all for your kind words! Especially for your prayers. We will be leaving Oregon Sat early morning. We will arrive in Fountain Valley California sometime Sunday night. I have two days of post op appts and have my surgery on Wednesday August 27th. I can't believe it is really happening. We have worked so hard to make this happen but owe all the thanks to God! I am a bit nervous but mostly excited. August 27th is the first day of my new lifestyle. A whole new and much desired way of living. For all of you who have been there I would love for you to email me. For those seeking insurance approval, it really wasn't that difficult. It is do-able and definatly worth the effort! I am scurrying around trying to raise the last few hundred $$ for my co-pay but we are going to make it. No doubt about it! Well I will keep you updated!
