Unofficial Angel but sister and friend of Tanya. I love this girl.. lol we grew up together and she is still a girl to me (keeps me a girl too lol) Anyhoo.. I just spoke to Tanya and she had her surgery today! She has only been in her room for about a half hour. They were able to do it lap.. even though there was some scar tissue to deal with. Dr's say she did great. She says she is uncomfortable but not nearly in as much pain as she thought she'd be. She sounds fantastic and is so happy to have done this. She may be able to leave the hospital in a couple days. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE send her some good thoughts and love.. her page is blank (which I think happened with the site trouble) .. if you had already posted.. could you do so again? I know how much that meant to me to have when I came out of recovery. God bless you Tanya... Love you much sis.. Gail

Tanya, I am wishing you a safe, complication free surgery and a smooth, quick recovery. I had my Open RNY on 12/10/01 and have absolutely NO regrets other than not having done it several years sooner. I can honestly say, without a doubt, that this is the best thing I have ever done for myself. God bless you as you start your healthy new life.

Tanya, I certainly hope this time you really get into surgery & are able to start your Healthy New life. God's Blessings, you have been very patient & understanding about all the mixups, or at least it seems like you haven't thrown any tantrums. I'm sure I couldn't have been so calm.
