11/23/02: Hello all my AMOS friends. I want to thank you all for your blessings and your support. It's been truly heart-touching and I know it's getting me on the road to recovery. I returned home yesterday and so far it is going fine. Surgery was pretty much as I expected, but the after surgery part--even though you are prepared--is just always a little surprise. I must take this opportunity to thank my Angel Angie Bartholomay. And what an angel she has been. More than one could ever hope for. She has made me feel like a true princess and has been there for me day and night and at my beck and call. I will never forget her kindnesses to me and my family. God has blessed me by having someone like Angie come into my life and I am forever greatful. Thanks Angie for a job well done! You are the best! I have my angel hanging on the tv so that I can see it from the recliner. You're a winner and I am following you down the losing path. Won't be long and I'll be running and skipping. Thank you EVER SO MUCH, and thank Dr. Valin with those wonderful, gifted hands and giving heart! With people like this on our side we can't help but be losers (in the best way); Just heard last night that next Friday 48 Hour Investigates is going to have a segment on the "new" surgery lap-banding. It's either on NBC or ABC, not sure which. Check your guides. Addios. Time for a walk around the house and back to the nappy-poo recliner. Love,

Linda, I,too, am very sorry you're having such a rough time...BUT, your medical difficulties are not insurmountable, and I believe with my whole heart that you'll come out of this OK. I'll say an extra prayer for your quick recovery.Just please remember that, when you're able, do your breathing exercises and walk as much as possible to prevent a blood clot. May God richly bless you.
