Angel flying in with an update on KAY L. who had her Lap RNY this morning, June 30th. I just returned from visiting Kay in PACU at The Westchester Medical Center. Her surgery took about 3 hours and she rates her pain a 5 on a scale of 1-10. She said what she's mostly feeling right now is TIRED. She wanted to get up and walk, but was told to wait until after she has had her leak test, which is scheduled for tomorrow morning at 9AM. Dr. Kaul says that if all goes well with her leak test, she may be able to go home tomorrow. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, Kay! :) In the meantime she was definitely left in good hands with her nurse, who was a doll!

Hello. :) Angel flying in one last time before my friend KAY L. goes in for her surgery tomorrow morning. Her Lap RNY is scheduled for 7:30AM, so she has just 6 1/2 hours to go now! I'd like to thank everybody who responded to my previous posts and were kind enough to send some well wishes KAY's way. Anybody that's reading the board tonight: If you could take a minute to stop by KAY's surgery page and send good luck and a few kind words her way, it would be very much appreciated! GOOD LUCK TO YOU, KAY!
