Sue is home. I went to see her and she looks good. Her blood count is at 7 but they want it at 14. I am sure it will come up fast because she is young. Sue is happy to report that she has lost 26 pounds in 2 weeks. She thanks everyone for their support.

Sue was moved to a regular room today and is weak but doing better. She is having dreams of eating food though...hehe She is not happy they are keeping her on the first stage longer. They say she has an alser and have to take meds for that. They are going to send her home in 2-4 days.

I talked to the family and Sue is doing better. She has not had a bloody stool since yesterday so they are confinident that things are healing up. They are going to watch her 1 more day in ICU then move her to another room. Her blood count was down to 4.6 but they felt it was because they had so much fluid in her that it thined her blood. So they drained off 2 pints and the count went up to 6.6. Sue is smiling and looks happy. Her throat is very sore from the tube but doing much better. Still pale but improving. We are with you SUE!

Oh Susan, I feel so bad for you having to go thru this scare - I can only imagine how terrified you were (((((HUGS))))) Please take care of yourself and please angels, keep us posted. I will watch and pray for you Susan.

Sue had the other scopeing done and they found no bleeders so they feel it is at the "Y" where they can't check. They still haven't decided if they will open her back up yet because her blood count held all last night at 8. And as of 7pm tonight it had only dropped .3 so it is possible the leak is sealing itself. I hope it is. Her blood preasure is very low but she is holding her own.
