Hi Roni, Honey, keep your head up. I know that things aren't going the way we want them to right now. But it is better safe than sorry with this type of surgery. I know you didn't want to hear that. I will tell you that I am praying for you and that I am sure that this will work out. Consider yourself hugged.

Roni, I just heard the news about your labs, well that just stinks :(. I am about 4 hours from Fountain Valley and a military wife. I know this sounds strange but if things don't work out tomorrow and you need a place to stay you are welcome to drive up here and hang out with me till Monday. My email is on my profile. <b>ALOHA Angel Coming In For A Landing!!!</b> Roni could use some MAJOR emotional support!!!! She flew from Hawaii to California Sunday and was scheduled for surgery for TODAY. Well as luck would have it, her labwork showed that she had a bacterial infection so they canceled her surgery! This young lady has gone through SO much to get this surgery. The surgeon did reschedule the surgery for Monday morning HOWEVER she has to have the infection cleared up by that time. Roni is in CA all alone (no family... her husband is in the Marines and deployed). Because her date was shifted, now all her plans have had to change. She is staying with a LOVELY lady but this lady is going on vacation next week so after surgery Roni didn't have any place but a lonely hotel room to go to. If the surgery is not able to be performed on Monday, our poor Roni will have gone to great emotional, physical and financial expense... for nothing. I don't want to see that happen!!! She is so brave and strong!!! She needs and deserves this surgery!! <b>PLEASE</b> say lots of prayers for her so that when she goes into the doctor's office tomorrow for repeat labs, that everything looks WONDERFUL so they can proceed. Roni could use lots of encouragement and support right now. Please flood her surgery page with your loving thoughts and prayers. RONI... don't give up the fight hon!!!!It is going to be worth it!! My very best wishes to you for a safe and successful surgery and recovery. May all of your sweetest dreams come true. My husband and I both had open rny's in 2001 and have lost a combined total of 325 lbs!! YOU CAN DO IT TOO!!!
