04/3/03 - Hi Minerva, It's Veronica Brown. We were in the hospital at the same time. You had your surgery the day before me and we have also met in Dr Wongsa's office. How are you doing with your loss? Any more complications? Are you getting enough water into your system? I am scheduled to see Dr Wongsa again the last Friday in May. So far I've lost 80lbs and feeling so much more healthier. Have introduced some carbs but very few and very little. Will try to eat more after May when I reach my target weight of 170 lbs. My very best wishes to you for a safe and successful surgery and recovery. May all of your sweetest dreams come true. My husband and I both had open rny's in 2001 and have lost a combined total of 325 lbs!! YOU CAN DO IT TOO!!!

Hi Minerva, Congratulations on your upcoming surgery! As the weight comes off I know you'll love dancing even more than you do now! Just the weight I've lost in the past six weeks has done wonders for my feet; they almost never hurt now. :-) My prayers and thoughts are with you for a successful surgery and a healthy new life!
