Hi,Carol: Best of luck on your surgery. Dr. Yates did my surgery (open RNY) on 1 Sep 00 at Southepointe Hospital. He was a real sweetheart and did a wonderful job. My scar isn't nearly as bad as I expected, and I had very little pain afterward. In fact, I didn't even fill my pain prescription I was given when I left the hospital - just took some liquid Tylenol for discomfort. I'll be thinking of you! Hugs and kisses.
