Elizabeth- I am one of those people who absolutely cannot throw up since surgery. I actually told my surgeon that he broke my 'throw up' mechanism LOL. In a way, this has been a behavior modification for me. I try not to overeat because I know that I will be miserable until it passes. Sometimes, I even drink a hot liquid if I've overeaten (hot tea, coffee or sugar free hot chocolate) and it helps somehow to move things along. I don't know if this will work for you...this surgery is certainly trial and error. But, I wish you best of luck and wanted you to know that you are not alone in the "i can't throw up" club. HUGS
