Kristi-- Thanks for the sweet email. Just know, again, that you're not alone in this madness and feeling like you're doing something wrong. I feel the same way at times, but then remind myself that my body is ADJUSTING and doing things on ITS own schedule! Do you exercise? I haven't much at all since surgery and plan on really kicking up the activity ASAP!!!!!! Not only will it help, but I think (no, I KNOW) it'll be a great antidote for these mental/emotional type of battles!! Best of everything to you! 2003 will be OUR YEAR!!!!!!!! Sisters in this battle! Karen

Hi Kristi: you may still be alittle recovery time needed. Are you on reg. vitimines and calcium suppliments. I didnt get on them until about 8 weeks along and when i got on them I began to improve.I began college just 4 weeks after my surgery and I really felt like some one kick me between the eyes and it took about an other 4 to 6 weeks to feel better. I was told that it takes about 4 months to heal and get your strength back so dont be hard on your self. take as much time at you need to feel better. I am now 3 1/2 months out from Open Rny surgery and I am doing fantastic now. I am walking about 20 min a day now and I am very active now. Hang in there. I spoke with Kristi and she is doing great. She is feeling strong and positive. She has the majority complete, now she is looking forward to the new start with new habits. She sounds great and she feels great (only 3 days after). Hooray for Kristi! Your new life now begins.

Peace and blessings from Cleveland Heights, Ohio. Just sending you a word of comfort to let you know you have made a beautiful choice. You will be stronger after this process. I had an open RNY on 8/14 and am already down 57 pounds. Be strong and fearless as you start your new journey.
