I am praying for you. I hope my process goes quickly but I am finding it helps speed along the time wishing well for others. I am trying to get better at posting on these surgery pages and yours just grabbed hold of me. I will be praying your surgery is completely successful and uneventful and before you know it, you'll be on the losing side. Much love and prayers and hugs to you and your family. Keep us posted!!

Becky, I am wishing you a successful, complication-free surgery and a smooth, quick recovery. I had my open RNY on 12/10/01 and have absolutely NO regrets other than not having done this several years sooner. It is, without a doubt, the best thing I could have done for myself. God bless you as you start your healthy new life.

Becky, congratulations on your upcoming surgery. May God lead Dr. Olson and his crew in your surgery. May His angels watch over and protect you. May He bless you with a quick, uncomplicated and painless recovery. Remember to use the pain med. that's what it's there for and it helps you to be able to deep breath (cough), and walk.. walking REALLY does help.. do as much as you can.. helps work out the soreness and the gas you get from anesteshia (SP??? LOL)
