"First impression was that he was really nice and professional. He wanted to know if my husband would still love me after I "started shrinking" because I was going to shrink ALOT! LOL! The office staff was very helpful and nice...very "fat friendly" office! The Renew program is very structured and they really spell out exactly what is going to happen and when. I know the aftercare program is at least 2 years of followup. I'm a bit undecided on the laparoscopic procedure and the open procedure. I don't think that they've done as many laps as opens, but I like the recovery time associated with the lap. I'm going to think on it some more, and Dr. Mando said it was completely my decision. I would recommend Dr. Mando and Renew to anyone checking into WLS, most defintely!!"
