Hello Christy, I had the band put in on September 16th, 2002. I am doing really well. I am down 40 pounds since my surgery and 76 since May of 2002. No complications or problems. No fill yet and I am able to eat most things just in much smaller amounts!

Hey Christy welcome to the family. I too am waiting for approval. But I am pushy. I keep calling the doctors office and the insurance. If I don't they will sit on it. That is what I suggest to you. If you really want this push. Otherwise they will do it when they feel like it. Well good luck to you.About Me
