Hi Rachel: I am now 3 months out and am just now feeling energetic and i just started taking my adult vitimines about 3 weeks ago and I began getting alot more energetic. You will get more energy and then you will be blowing and going and you will not want to stop. I was told before I had my surgery that it takes about 3 to 4 months to gain your energy level. Please be patient and It will come. I have lost 77 lbs and I feel great now. I am not having to take naps any more in the afternoons. and sleep great at night now. Sheryl.

Rachel, your drive to eat and for energy will return soon! I too felt fatigued a lot in my first several weeks after surgery. I'm not sure if you are taking vitamin supplements like vitamin with iron, B complex, and calcium citrate, but the B complex will soon kick back in and give you more energy then you know what to do with!! (I swear since it kicked in with me, I do more of everything because I can now!!). Don't let it get you down, food for about the first 3 months after surgery is going to play tricks on your mind too. There are things that I used to like eating that I can still have, but just can't find the taste to take in right now. I'm sure that too will all change. I'm 2 1/2 months post-op now and down 67 pounds and have NO regrets going through this surgery. Just remember the most important part of this whole journey is a positive attitude. Hope this helps!
