Hi again G, I forgot that you may have a bad reaction to sugar and Boost High protein contains 25g of sugar and only 15 g of protein....so for you it may not be right. SORRY!! I hear Real Meals, who advertise here in this site, has a good tasting high protein drink with many more grams of protein in it. Sorry, I had banding and not rny so I wasn't thinking about the sugar problem!! Good luck hon!!! HUGS! Carol Percel

I wanted to thank Carol Percel for the information that she gave me. I am going to try that. I have been a little scared to take in skim milk but I am going to try. I feel great. However, I only lost 8 lbs on my first visit to have my staples removed. So I have been trying really hard to drink water and to walk. My surgeon was pleased even though I was a little under normal. However, I am going to keep trying. I have no regrets. I am excited and committed, because I realize this surgery helped to prolong my life.

Hi "G", CONGRATS on a problem free surgery!!! It sounds like your recovery is going smoothly too! I am just thrilled for you!! Just a suggestion.....try Boost High Protein drink, the chocolate is YUMMY but sort of thick so I mix mine with some skim milk and it's wonderful!! I had Banding instead of bypass so I don't NEED to drink it for protein, but I use it to get me by the chocolate cravings I have (which are fewer every day). So one lasts me 2 or 3 days. But you have the protein issue so give it a try!! Best of luck hon and remember you are NOT alone!! HUGS!!! Carol Percel
