Hi everyone it's me. Well it been a really rough couple of weeks on my 7-10 post op appt i was down 17.5 pounds and had my stitches removed. and i was starting to get more fluids but wasn't holding food down, so i go scared and called and its normal they said and if i had any other changes to call them back. well then things turned bad i was down 32 pounds and then stopped... dead and started gaining weight i cried and cried so as a month came by i went to get my blood drawn for the 1 month appt aug 16th, and was told i needed to get on thyroid med's and that would help my weight loss. Well i called Dr wizman's office and spoke to them and they said when i speak that nite at the info session i could speak to him. I wasn't in the best spirits and didn't want to go but i went. I spoke to him and endocronolgist here i come (so i thought)my primary wouldn't ok the referral, they wanted med's first well new blood came back fine and then we were all baffled. well as of today i went to there office to see if i had lost or gained and woohooo i lost 6 pounds in 2 days i almost cried Dr. Wizman just laughed and told me to go home it's gonna be fine. So now 1 month and 3 days i'm doing great again. thanks to everyone who shares there trials and heartache with us all fighting to be healthier. Like i always say it feels Great To Be POST-OP

We are wishing you all the best. Stay strong and keep your faith. My husband just had surgery on 7-9-02 and is doing well. He was as scared as you are now. Enjoy your day and try to sleep tonight. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. And even now.. I will ask our Lord to watch over you and your loved ones. To give you the strength and peace tonight and tomorrow. To cast out the fear. To stand by and guide you Doctor. And most off all Lord... I ask that you ease the pain after Dawn's surgery and have the hospital staff to be adequate and keep her pain free. In all these things I ask in Jesus name. Amen................ Darlene Sprague
