Hello there OH. I have made it through the surgery, the PAIN, and the recovery.. I had a Surgery complication unrelated to the gastric itself but something that can happen after ANY surgery. My left lung collapsed day after I left the hosp and back I went to the emergency room for 6hrs... Now let me tell you this is more painful than the surgery, incisions, and muscle atrophy, put together!!! I couldnt sit, stand, walk, crawl, or wipe my own ass!! (LOL)... No not kidding I could not!!! I was given Morphine on top of Oxycotin... HOLLY DURGS!!! It has just finally healed... Just another lesson to DO EXACTLY WHAT THE DR. SAYS...when he/she says to use your "airflow breathing thingy".... Use it religiously!!! Anyhow I feel better and smaller, I did right away, but I have hit a plateau already... the scale had stopped moving 
..... I don't know why... but I think my body has to adjust a bit and it will start to move again... so far 40lbs since the fast, 25 since surgery!!!
