Hello everyone! My name is Alyssa. I am very excited to be on this website and have access to such an enormous amount of information everyone can provide through their own experiences. It is great that people are able to connect through something we all have in common and know all too well, and to watch everyone's journey to conquer our weight issues. I am scheduled for surgery on the 19th of January, 10 days away! I can not wait, I am so excited to work at this and have a tool to help me loose the weight and KEEP IT OFF. We all know how it feels to lose the weight, just to gain it all back with some extra pounds just to make us feel even better about ourselves, but this time it is coming off and staying off! While I am excited, it is also scary and I just can't believe it is actually happening! It really feels like this is the beginning to the rest of my life... a healthier life, a more active life, a life where I can finally feel good about the way that I look! I look forward to meeting many friends through this website, and I also hope that I can help others in some way!
