Hello to anyone who decides to stop by my profile. This Weight Loss Surgery journey is very new and exciting to me. I have been over-weight my entire life. I'm finely at the point where I just can not see me having any sort of a future if I continue to do nothing. Surgery for me is not something that I am taking lightly, its a big decision and a commitment. I am preparing my self in every way possible. I have a great support system at home and at work. I will continue to pray about it, and to in the meantime go to the gym as often as I can, as well as watch my portions and what it is I am putting in my mouth. My appointment to meet with the Surgeon is on December 9, 2008 at 2:00. I am so excited. My mind wonders to the day when I am healthy enough to go hiking with my family or just have that incredible energy that comes with being healthy and fit. I have never really dated I tend to be shy and put walls up so hopefully I can break those walls down and that this will boost my self-esteem to. There's a big world out there, I have always limited myself to things that are safe and comfortable because of my weight. I am ready to take charge of my life and do whats best for me.
