Well I have been the big girl all my life even from childhood, I was always chubby. The older I get, the more I realize all the weight over the years, is finally catching up to me. Since about 2008 I have been contiplating gastric bypass surgery. Finally after realizing my health is not as good as it used to be, shortness of breath, infertility, back/knee/leg pain, sleep apnea, start of hypertension, and so on, I knew I had to do something, being as young as I am, cause it will only get worse, and I don't want to die before my time for the sake of my son & fiance. I have tried every diet possible, even down to basically starving myself with no success, most I have ever lost is 50lbs. and then regaining it all back & then some. I am currently at my highest weight ever, and it scares me to death. Obesity in my eyes, is a disease, and those who have never had to deal with it, will never understand. I hope that all goes well with my GP and insurance and I will be able to get the surgery sometime this year.
