Amy, We have this message board as a place to share our feelings and vent our frustration a "safe haven" if you will. In my opinion, persons who read these messages with the intent of inflicting punitive actions (the following descriptive words come to mind; penalize, castigate, revengeful, vindictive) on the author are doing a great disservice to our WLS siblings. Perhaps these persons should get off the internet during working hours and continue doing their jobs such as returning phone calls to their customers! Hugz my WLS sista

I knew you would get approved......but, the waiting is hard!!!!!!!! You did it....honestly girl, the hard part is over! I am so happy for you! Where will the surgery be? Keep me posted!!!

You are not going to die Amy. But I do know what you mean. I did the same thing before my surgery. I would hold my girls crying until we all fell asleep. But you will be fine, just as I am. You are completely healthy, besides the weight. Dr Coates is wonderful. And you are completely dedicated and ready to take on the responsibility to change your life. Quit stressin on dying and start to think of all the fun and wonderful things you are going to be able to do (with you kids) after surgery, when u are thin, healthy and happy! Luv ya girly! Smile :)

I feel the same impatiency that you do and like you my consult date was for the 9th and got moved to the 16th of September it was so heart wrenching when Tiffani called to tell me. But keep your head up and keep busy and it will be here before you know it.

Sorry bout your bad news....think of it this way...If we didnt have bad days we wouldnt appreciate our great days! And i know you have great days ahead...so be patient and smile...Aside from all that, I know what you are talking about...I havent felt like doing anything lately either...Take care sweetie!!!

Thank you Amy for taking the time to call and check on me. You're such a sweetie. I'm home and feeling pretty good considering. I showed the kids my wounds and they said it looked like had been stabbed with a knife 5 times. hehehe. I'm gonna have to post a pic. Love ya sista, Hugz
